Brave and Strong

You'll Never Be as Right as Me   My name is Evan Smith, and I am a person who is now striving for self-excellence in all forms. I enjoy debating, gaming, lifting, eating, singing, and many other forms of genuine expression. I won't, nor will ever acceptance, the dissonance that many people here spew in order to create, what they believe, is a more equal society. In a world where we see disorder, people will attempt to remedy situation. As history has shown however, the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

Besides this silly little crusade of mine, I like to reblog stuff I like.

dear concern trolls…

The concern though, does not involve you, but your actions onto society. If society is hurt by a fat person’s actions, then someone must be at fault, right?

It's OK to be Thin: On fat and genetics →

itsoktobethin:

I understand that this is a very heated subject. The mods at TITP like to point out that being fat is genetically determined. It isn’t; not completely.
My primary research as a Mol. Biologist was on cancer (more specifically, angiogenesis and p53), but, as every other person studying genetics, I…

The scientific approach, while harder for some to take in at first, enlightens us all in the end. This person did a great job explaining the molecular side of this large issue. Quality post.

Follow Fuck Yeah! Body Confidence for more beautiful bodies!

This picture sends a negative image to a group that is already negative. How can this be considered “fashion” and even be considered something to boost the confidence of people who are overweight? Look at her, she is wearing clothes that are overtly way to expensive to show off flair, a lot of make up which entails that a fat woman has to apply a literal mask onto her face to be considered “beautiful”, and most of all, that silly little net on top of her head. This is the part that hurts me more than the already sickening make up aspect. It is small and very petite. In ratio, it is VERY small compared to the rest of her and what she is wearing. It is a literally mockery of women who truly want to lose weight. This isn’t body confidence, this is body shaming.

cuntofdoom asked: keep your fatphobic bullshit out of our tag.

Answer:

Your intolerance for opinions is rude. You will not, nor can you censor what I say. I am not hurting people, I am only bringing up valid points. Your username is quite offensive, by the way.

Daily reminder that all humans are the same. If you’re fat it’s your fault, not genetics. Being “big-boned” is a lie.

Daily reminder that one fat persons body is not representative of all fat peoples bodies and it’s none of your fucking business WHY my body is fat. Fat people are still people deserving of respect, regardless of if you find us attractive or healthy.

I have seen this picture before. Someone was trying to say that the lungs on the fatter person were significantly smaller because they were so fat. These two pictures are not even scaled the same. The fatter body is zoomed out to show the fat. You can’t make an accurate comparison when the images are not the same size.

Thank you for admitting that the picture was was zoomed out for the larger person. The close-mindedness of many people astounds me. By your same logic I could dictate that it was not the larger person’s picture that was zoomed out but that the thinner person’s picture was zoomed IN. Maybe they’re just too skinny and wanted to compare it from that angle? Truth be told, all one sees in the picture on the right is a larger mass and the one on the less is a marginally smaller one. This is, and will forever be the difference between your umwelt and the rest of society.
